We celebrated 8 years of marriage in Nov!💗)⁣ ⁣ • Online shopping (someone stop me🤭) 📦👠💸💃🏽⁣🤪 ⁣ • Organizing a space in my house (am I the only one that finds this super therapeutic?!) 🏡⁣ ⁣ • Eating hot cheetos 😛 (okay it’s rare these days BUT I diddddd get a bag for this weekend 🤣)⁣ ⁣ • Working up the energy to get my butt to the gym 😅⁣ ⁣ • Trying to make time to read one of the countless unread books I have on my shelf 😅 (@audible is a lifesaver)⁣ ⁣ • Savoring a mug of hot tea (English breakfast, lots of honey, & steamed almond milk please ☕️)⁣ ⁣ • Trying to catch up on my DMs here (it’s one of my new year intentions for 2021—and I’m not doing great, y’all 😅 forgive me!)⁣ ⁣ • Treating myself to some new skincare product because #skincareislife (my most recent pick up was CEO GLOW by @sundayriley) 💛⁣ ⁣ Orrrrrrr⁣ ⁣ • Working on something @coachesandcompany related 🤩👩🏽‍💻⚡️⁣ ⁣ Honestly, I’m in a season of life where my priorities are clear as day: my family, my businesses, & me 👸🏽 What about you? 📸: @victoriasaperstein

Happy weekend, y’all 💛 I’m so glad the weat Happy weekend, y’all 💛 I’m so glad the weather here in Dallas is starting to get better! Although, you can probably tell from Musa’s hair that it’s a taddddd bit windy 🤣⁣ ⁣ Have you been spending time outside? I’m hoping to spend a lot more time outdoors with this guy in the spring 😍 To my mamas of toddlers—what fun activities do your kiddos love? They say growth happens when you step out of your They say growth happens when you step out of your comfort zone.⁣ ⁣ And not to sound basic, but... that’s been my exact experience. 🤷🏽‍♀️😂⁣ ⁣ There are lots of reasons we stay in our comfort zone...⁣ 🙇🏾‍♀️It’s easier⁣ 🙇🏿‍♀️It’s less scary⁣ 🙇🏼‍♀️It feels safe⁣ 🙇🏽‍♀️It’s familiar⁣ ⁣ At every stage of my life & career, I can recall the ◽️comfort zone◽️ vs. the ✨magical zone✨ of growth, development, & of course, discomfort.⁣ ⁣ If you want BIG results, you’ve got to learn to live in the latter.⁣ ⁣ 👉🏽 As a new lawyer, I could stay home and be comfy, or I could go to all the networking events (remember those?) & connect with other people.⁣ ⁣ The initial result? A little bit (sometimes a lot) of discomfort. But also, a huge growth in my network & contact list.⁣ ⁣ The BIG result? Lots of new friends & tons of referrals!⁣ ⁣ 👉🏽 As a new mom, I could keep my struggles to myself and never ask for any help, or I could open up, be vulnerable, & ask for the help I needed.⁣ ⁣ The first result? Some discomfort... that was hugely outweighed by an outpouring of support from those in my corner 💛 (and too many other benefits to list!)⁣ ⁣ The BIG result? A happier, healthier, more balanced me, which leads to a happier baby, husband, & family.⁣ ⁣ 👉🏽 As a business owner (@protectmybrand & @coachesandcompany) I could stay comfortable/unbothered & not put myself out there via social media, video, connecting with other industry leaders, etc. just because it’s easier not to.⁣ ⁣ Orrrrr I could. Which is what I did/do.⁣ ⁣ The BIG results speak for themselves 😍⁣ ⁣ 👂🏽 Listen, friend. You will *not* regret pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone on a regular basis.⁣ ⁣ Whether its business, personal relationships, whatever.⁣ ⁣ If anything, I suggest proactively LOOKING for ways to get uncomfortable regularly, because you know that the BIG results you’re looking for are just on the other side of that.🌱⁣ ⁣ 💛 Tell me about something that was uncomfortable for you at first but ended up being the best thing ever! 🤩 #letsgrow

WHEW. What a year.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I’ve been reflec WHEW. What a year.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I’ve been reflecting on the year that’s passed...⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ And as many wins as I experienced, I suffered just as many losses.⁣ Today, we’ll focus on the wins 🌟 (we’ll discuss losses soon enough 😉)⁣ ⁣⁣ •I decided to pursue my second business @coachesandcompany (for the THIRD time!)⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ •The pandemic hit 😷 (& I began to spend 95% of my time in a hoodie 🤷🏽‍♀️)⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ •My office lease ended in March, so I didn’t renew & instead began working from home from a desk in the corner of my son’s playroom 😂🤷🏽‍♀️⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ •I continued supporting clients in my law firm @protectmybrand⁣ while I built @coachesandcompany on the side⁣ ⁣⁣ •Beta-launched @coachesandcompany to a few trusted friends, colleagues, & clients 💗⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ •Took their feedback back to the drawing board & improved on our products 🔨⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ •Celebrated my first Mother’s Day & my son’s 1st birthday 💗🥳🎂⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ •Celebrated my baby sister graduating high school 👩🏽‍🎓🎉⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ •Continued improving & finalizing allllll the things for the launch of this crazy thing we built 🤯⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ •Finally launched @coachesandcompany in July 🚀🌟🎉💃🏽⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ •Was met with the most exciting response!!! I’m still on cloud 9 about it! 🥰🥰⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ •Realized I needed to create physical separation between work & home, so I rented a new office 🛋⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ •Visited San Diego for the first time ☀️ (& our first vacation in years!)⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ •Launched the @coachwithconfidence podcast 🎙 & have since had the honor of interviewing & sharing the stories of some of the most incredible & inspiring women!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ •Participated in my first Black Friday ever & that needs a podcast episode recap all on its own 😅⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ •Wrapped up the year with a few weeks off & some serious reflection & planning for the future 🙌🏽⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Anddddd that’s my 2020 in a nutshell 😅⁣ ⁣ Have you taken time to reflect on the year that’s passed?
